A stunning original Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) bronze vase by renowned Austrian-born sculptor and painter Emil Fuchs, dating to circa 1900.

The vase is formed in a softly rounded, organic shape, characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement, and decorated with flowing floral motifs and a delicate butterfly in relief. The composition reflects the period’s focus on natural forms and fluid lines, creating a harmonious and sculptural presence.

The surface retains a rich, dark patina, complemented by subtle golden highlights on the raised decoration, enhancing depth and contrast. The piece is mounted on a striking green onyx base, adding a refined material contrast and elevating the overall appearance.

The vase is signed “E. Fuchs” near the base, confirming its attribution.
