Large Vintage Murano Lattimo Glass Wall Light - Fan Sconce - Art Deco Revival

Make a statement with this large vintage Murano wall light, a striking example of Italian Art Deco Revival design from the 1980s. Crafted in Murano, Venice, and retaining its original Murano Originale Garantito label, the piece combines sculptural form with the timeless elegance of Venetian art glass.

Measuring an impressive 45 cm (17.7 in) across, the light is designed in a dramatic fan form, creating a bold architectural presence even when unlit. The luminous white lattimo-style glass body is crowned by a beautifully scalloped clear rim, producing a refined interplay between opacity and transparency that is characteristic of Murano glassmaking.

When illuminated, the shade transforms into a radiant focal point. The white glass diffuses light into a soft, ambient glow, while the clear upper edge catches and reflects the light, creating a subtle halo effect around the scalloped silhouette. The result is both elegant and theatrical, making the piece particularly effective in the evening.

Resting on a black geometric base, the design perfectly captures the glamour of the 1980s Italian Art Deco Revival movement, with touches of Hollywood Regency and Postmodern styling. Its generous scale allows it to function as a true statement piece, whether installed in a hallway, living room, bedroom, dressing room, boutique interior, or hospitality setting.

A highly decorative and increasingly sought-after example of vintage Murano lighting, combining authentic Venetian craftsmanship with strong sculptural presence.
