Vintage Italian Dragon Chamberstick - Bronzed Solid Cast Brass Candlestick Holder

Echoing the romanticism of Grand Tour decorative arts, this vintage Italian chamberstick candlestick holder is formed as a mythological dragon and cast in solid brass with a rich bronze-toned finish. The piece beautifully combines Gothic Revival influence with the dramatic character of mid-century Italian fantasy decor.

Designed in the traditional chamberstick form, it features an integrated carrying loop, historically intended for transporting candlelight between rooms and corridors. The dragon’s elongated body, textured wings, and expressive detailing give the object a strong architectural and sculptural presence from every angle.

Inspired by earlier Napoleon III and Grand Tour era mythological designs, this vintage Italian interpretation captures the atmospheric quality of historic European decorative arts while remaining highly decorative and functional as both a candle holder and collector’s display piece.

The surface displays beautiful aged character throughout, with warm bronze tones, darker recessed patina, and natural wear consistent with age and use.

An atmospheric and highly decorative vintage object, ideal for Gothic, eclectic, medieval-inspired, or curated interior spaces.
