Vintage Malachite Turtle Dish - Hand Carved Green Stone Catchall - Sculptural Trinket Bowl

A beautifully hand-carved vintage malachite turtle dish, likely dating to the mid-20th century. This compact sculptural piece combines function and form — a small catchall resting within a figurative turtle shape, carved from richly banded natural stone.

The malachite displays deep green tones with characteristic swirling patterns, giving the surface a sense of movement and depth. Subtle variations and natural banding make each angle slightly different, reinforcing its organic origin.

Both decorative and functional, it can be used as a small trinket dish for jewelry, coins, or desk items, while also standing alone as a sculptural object. Its modest size makes it ideal for a bedside table, desk, or shelf.
