Vintage Moroccan Black Glazed Plate with Silver Detail – Safi Pottery Wall Art

A distinctive vintage Moroccan decorative plate from Safi, finished in a deep black glaze and framed with silver-toned metal detail.

The piece combines ceramic craftsmanship with applied metalwork, creating a refined contrast between the glazed dark surface and the geometric rim. The metal elements are shaped and fitted by hand, giving the plate its structured yet artisanal character.

Originating from Safi — a coastal city known for its pottery traditions — this piece reflects a blend of local craftsmanship and decorative influence. Subtle irregularities in the glaze and metalwork highlight its handmade nature and add to its individuality.

Designed as a decorative object, it can be displayed flat, placed in a stand, or mounted on the wall using the existing hanging holes on the reverse.
Please note: the display stand shown in the photos is not included.

The underside bears an indistinct etched mark, likely from the maker or workshop
